Former Congressman Luis Gutierrez Continues “One Million For 2020” Campaign in Orlando This Weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – Former Congressman Luis Gutierrez, who is currently Senior Advisor at the National Partnership for New Americans, will lend his presence and enthusiasm for one of the issues closest to his heart: converting eligible residents into citizens. He will participate in a free legal clinic at 8 a.m. Saturday, in Walt Disney World, Orlando, for lawful permanent residents who qualify to become citizens.

“The repeated attacks against our community are unconscionable. It is crucial we defend our families and mobilize those who are eligible to naturalize to do so,” Gutierrez said. “We’ve already seen tens of thousands begin the process nationwide. There is no better protection for you and your family and no better way to raise your voice and have a say in the future of the United States than U.S. citizenship. With the help of our community and those who support us, we can continue to uphold the values of inclusion and diversity that matter most for Americans."
