As the unprecedented COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation continues to evolve, the City’s primary focus continues to be on the health and safety of our employees, customers and community. While the need for social distancing is of great importance, we remain committed to supporting the general health and safety needs of the community. Beginning Monday, 23, 2020, City Hall will be closed to the public. Below is information for departments that citizens interact with daily and how they can continue conducting their business with the City.
Accounting
Please be advised that all payments that have been traditionally made in person at the Accounting Department will now have to be mailed in or you may call 806.775.2156 to make a payment using a credit card.

Libraries
On March 18th, 2020, Lubbock Public Libraries began a new curbside delivery service. Library patrons can call any of the library branches and request any available books or books on CD (sorry, DVDs are not available for this service at this time) to be pulled for them and then delivered to them in the library parking lot. This service is currently available during each branch’s regular business hours and will still be available on March 21, 2020, when the library is closed to the public.
Getting curbside delivery is easy! Go to WWW.LUBBOCKLIBRARY.COM to see what’s available in our catalog. Have your library card number ready, and call your preferred branch (Patterson 767-3300, Groves 767-3733, Godeke 775-3733, or Mahon Curbside line 775-2831) Give us the title and call number of the book you found in our catalog. We will pull the books for you and have them ready in less than an hour. Give us a call when you drive up to the library and we will bring them out to you. Patrons should have a library card in good standing (please call to pay fines online with a credit card). Lubbock Memorial Civic Center
The Lubbock Memorial Civic Center’s hours of operation for March 19 – 20, 2020 will be 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Effective Saturday March 21, 2020 the Civic Center will be closed to the public until further notice. The Lubbock Memorial Civic Center will operate telephone hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We can be reached either by phone 806-775-2242 or email civiccenter@mylubbock.us.

Bibliotecas
El día 18 de Marzo del 2020, las Bibliotecas Públicas de Lubbock iniciaron un nuevo servicio de entrega en aceras. Los patronos de la nuestras Bibliotecas pueden llamar a cualquiera de nuestras sucursales y solicitar cualquier libro o libros en CD disponibles (lo sentimos, pero DVDs no están disponibles para este servicio en este momento) y estos serán entregados a ellos en el estacionamiento de la biblioteca. Este servicio esta disponible durante los horarios regulares de cada sucursal y continuará estando disponible el día 21 de Marzo cuando las bibliotecas cierren al público.

Lubbock Memorial Civic Center
El Lubbock Memorial Civic Center ofrecerá horarios de operación de 10am a 4pm del 19 de Marzo al Viernes 20 de Marzo.
