City of Lubbock Confirms 66 Additional COVID-19 Cases, 2 Deaths As of 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020, the City of Lubbock confirmed 66 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), 137 recoveries and two additional deaths. The total number of cases in Lubbock County is 6,495: 1,624 active, 4,784 listed as recovered and 87 deaths.
