City of Lubbock Confirms Additional COVID-19 Cases, Recoveries As of 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020, the City of Lubbock confirmed 33 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), 67 recoveries, and 1 additional death. The total number of cases in Lubbock County is 6,918: 1,475 active, 5,349 listed as recovered and 94 deaths.
