HOLIDAY SERVICES


  • A Christmas Eve Candlelight service will be at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 17th and Slide Road, on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. There will be a Christmas message, carols and special music by our pianist and a trumpet accompanying our favorite hymns. All are welcome.

  • Christmas Eve Service, 6 p.m. Saturday, Metropolitan Community Church of Lubbock, 4501 University Ave. All are welcome.

  • Christmas Eve service, 5 p.m. Saturday, Forrest Heights United Methodist Church, 3007 33rd St., traditional service will include carols, communion and Candlelight in our beautiful sanctuary.

  • St. Pauls on the Plains Episcopal Church, 1510 Ave. X: Christmas Eve: 4:30 p.m., informal family service. Simplified liturgy including Communion and familiar Christmas Carols.; 6:30 p.m., Early Christmas Eve "Vigil" Service. Full Christmas Eve service with carols and Communion, almost identical to the "Midnight" service. This service will begin with 15 minutes of Christmas music at 6:30, with the processional hymn and service proper beginning at 6:45 p.m. It will stream live on the Facebook page; 10:30 p.m., late Christmas Eve "Midnight" Service. Classic Christmas Eve service with carols and Communion (and incense). Begins with 15 minutes of Christmas music at 10:30 p.m., with the processional hymn and service proper beginning at 10:45 p.m. The service will end around midnight. Will NOT be streamed separately, but the 6:30 service will remain available to watch any time. Nursery will be available for the 6:30 p.m. Christmas Eve "Vigil" Service ONLY.

  • St. Pauls on the Plains Episcopal Church, 1510 Ave. X: Christmas Day, 10:30 a.m., one service only (no 8 a.m.) Musicians will be on break so no music at this service. There will NOT be a nursery. New Year's Day, 10:30 a.m., one service only (no 8 a.m.), there will be music. There will NOT be a nursery

  • First Christian Church, 2323 Broadway, Christmas Eve services at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and one service on Christmas Day at 11 a.m. All are welcome. Nursery for ages 0-3 years old available for the 4 p.m. service on Christmas Eve. Please join us. For questions, call (806) 763-1995.
