Mi Familia en Acción Texas Announces Citizenship Program

Houston – Mi Familia en Acción Texas is proud to announce our second round of citizenship fairs, where Legal Permanent Residents (LPR) can learn to adjust their status, and begin their journey to citizenship.

We know that naturalization is key to increasing Latino representation in public office, higher election turnout rates, and policy impact, making it a crucial step to heightened Latino political power. If all eligible Latino Legal Permanent Residents became US citizens, the nationwide Latino Citizenship Voting Age Population would increase by approximately 16.1%.

Space Is Limited and participants must RSVP and attend an info session to participate in the fair, where they will receive one-on-one assistance to fill out their application for US citizenship.
